Microneedle
About 1 hour
Done by qualified medical professionals. Anaesthetic cream is applied for 30 minutes. Microneedle head is rolled on skin surface
with application of specific solutions at the same time. Post procedure redness can persist for as long as 4 days depending on the degree of treatment.
Fractional CO2 Lasers
About 45 minutes
Done by doctors. 30 minutes after application of anaesthetic cream, laser shots will be applied to cellulite lines.
Each shot only lasts 1/60th of a second and can release the scars. There will be slight pain during procedure.
Microneedle
With cleanliness in mind microneedle is safe. It is particularly effective for large shallow scars, and evening out skin tones. Procedure needs to
be done under sterile condition. For this problem a longer needle of at least 1mm is required. Recovery time is around 5 days.*
Fractional CO2 Lasers
Fractional CO2 is an ablative procedure, which means it causes micro-breakage in the skin.
Strict cleanliness after procedure for several days is required. Recovery time from 5 days to 3 weeks.*
Depending on the severity of scars and discoloration problem, alternate treatment between Microneedle and Fractional CO2 or
a single treatment modality may be required. Usual treatment course needs 4 to 12 times, with 3-6 weeks in between.*
