Doctor’s Comment:
Sunlight contains UVA and UVB, while UVB is the cause of skin sunburn, UVA is the cause of aging, wrinkles and freckles. As SPF only indicates how strong a sunscreen is against UVB, most sunscreens does not indicate how good it is against UVA. The most effective UVA block is a mineral barrier such as Zinc Oxide above 4%, providing strong protection. This product contains Vitamin E and 10% Hyaluronic for anti-aging, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. Under strong sunlight, normal sunscreens can only last less than 30 minutes. A long duration sunscreen such as this product can last up to 4 hours. |

Advanced Comments:
Some countries require sunscreens to contain Zinc Oxide (a physical mineral barrier) above 4% before they can label PA+++, while often in non-regulated countries Titanium Dioxide or chemical barrier such as Avobenzone is used to make the product lighter when applied, but providing less protection. A long duration sunscreen with 8% Zinc Oxide provides the best protection against sun aging and after laser therapies. Vitamin E is a better antioxidant than Vitamin C and can help prevent sunskin injury. Both Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid 10% provide additional moisturizing and anti-aging effects. |
