About Dermaflage Main Product: |
|
Dermaflage is safe, and is made of medical grade silicone which is inert with little reaction to skin. Silicone is often used by medical professionals to improve scar healing. Dermaflage is waterproof, and may last as long as 36 hours each use. The Dermaflage inside the mixing tip will dry up in 2-5 minutes, thus the tips cannot be reused. For a more perfect correction, camouflage cosmetics (cream based) of the correct color can be used on top, especially when Dermaflage have been used to cover larger area defects.Dermaflage requires a little knowledge and skill to put on. For more detailed instructions please see our how to use Dermaflage page. |

By mixing two silicone ingredients together via the mixing tip, Dermaflage dries in room temperature in around 2 minutes. When applied to a depressed or uneven area of the skin in the right amount, Dermaflage will fill up the gap instantly. Silicone in general is shiny and semi-transparent in nature. This problem is overcome by choosing the correct pigmented Dermaflage silicone, and the supplied pad which will: 1 - Flatten Dermaflage to hide any scars or lines (the right amount is needed, too much will cause bulging while too little will not be enough) 2 - Impart a skin pore texture to Dermaflage to mimic normal skin |
